I used the recipe but multiplied by 4. Next time I will probably multiply times 8 for the filling, although maybe I hadn't done my math correctly. There was enough filling where the taste wasn't compromised, but I like the ratio of what appears in the picture. I tried making the lemon crème but it separated twice on me and I couldn't get it back. I ended up using canned whipped white frosting (I know but I was in a time crunch) and zested lemon and added fresh lemon juice. It actually tasted very similar to what I had made.
